"I had a new roof put on due to hail storm damage that happened earlier in the year. When I was in Brett Crandell's office to pay my yearly homeowner's insurance bill, I told my insurance agent (Janie Baker) that I had a new roof put on. She updated their records and also gave me a form to fill out to see if the shingles that were applied met a certain classification. She said if they did, I might get a refund from State Farm on my homeowner's insurance. I filled out my part of the form, the construction company filled out their part, and Janie forwarded it to State Farm. After a few days, I received an email from Janie stating I was going to receive a refund check from State Farm for $342.26! Thank you Janie for letting me know of this opportunity! If you recently had a new roof put on due to storm damage, you should contact your agent to see if you can do the same thing."
